There’s More Than One Way to Make a Difference
Choose any of the following ways to get involved and start making a difference in the lives of the young men at Youth-Reach Gulf Coast. Don’t see an option that fits how you would like to serve? Contact us to talk to someone about what God has placed on your heart.
Schedule a time to bring a meal for the young men and on-duty staff (once per week, once per month, etc.). We invite those volunteering in the meal program to visit the property and spend time with our residents. Meal program volunteers may also deliver the meals without visiting if that better accommodates their schedules. The cost of food is one of our biggest expenses, so this program is a huge help in making each dollar go as far as possible.
Our volunteer staff work alternating night shifts. The schedule is flexible and can accommodate most volunteers (once a week, once a month, etc.). We operate a 24/7 residential ministry and our staff is presently limited, so volunteer staff are a tremendous blessing. Volunteers must be male, at least 25-years-old, and able to provide references to participate.
Group Service Projects
We operate on an 81-acre campus east of Summerdale, Alabama. With a site this large containing multiple homes and support buildings, there are always projects waiting for helping hands to aid in construction, renovation or repair work. Projects vary (fencing, painting, etc.) and can take a few hours to a few days, so we can tailor the project to the size and skill level of your group and the number of hours or days that your group can commit.
