YRGC recently sent a team of staff and residents to help with Nashville, TN tornado relief efforts. We worked in the hardest hit, most poverty stricken areas for three days. While most of our time was spent removing trees and other debris from homes, roofs, and front yards, we also tarped damaged roofs to help preserve as many homes as possible.
Our group of 15 worked on more than 20 homes and lost count of how many trees were actually removed. We are very grateful to One Stone Church of Nashville who hosted our group. Not only did they provide a place for us to stay, but also supplied many of our meals.
We would like to extend a special thanks to all who make a special donation to help fund these relief efforts. Your generous support helped provide fuel for our vehicles and chainsaws, food for our team, and needed resources for our host church.
