Eleven years ago, Impact 100, a local non-profit providing grants to deserving organizations, blessed us with a 12-passenger van. Since then, we have driven the van over 200,000 miles for countless disaster relief missions, community service projects, church events, and resident trips. However, as the number of young men we serve increased along with the van’s mileage, a new larger van was necessary to serve the needs of Youth-Reach Gulf Coast (YRGC).

Last year we put out a request for a 15-passenger van to help us transport and minister to more young men. The Lord answered our prayers and brought Daphne businessman Brian Bakken who generously donated the vehicle to us.

“This van is a huge blessing for our entire Youth-Reach family,” said David Williams, Director of YRGC. “We now have the capability of transporting all of our residents in one trip with a safe, reliable vehicle that will serve our needs for years to come.”

His gift allows Youth-Reach to continue accepting more young men into our YRGC family. Our residents and staff are excited about the new van and looking forward to all of the trips we’ll take together to impact our community. It truly takes a village to support our ministry to the young men the Lord faithfully continues to bring us.

Thank you to Brian Bakken and all of you who support the mission of Youth-Reach!
