Youth-Reach Gulf Coast (YRGC) is proud to announce its accreditation by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) granted on January 6, 2022. This distinction enhances the credibility of Christ-centered ministries by upholding Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™.

EFCA was founded in 1979 to “establish a means by which responsible ministries could collectively demonstrate a positive witness for Jesus Christ.” The organization’s seal of approval indicates the bearer’s willingness to operate responsibly and be held accountable financially.

“We’re honored to receive recognition as an accredited member of the EFCA,” said David Williams, Director of YRGC. “This distinction reflects our long-standing commitment to responsibly stewarding the generosity of those who support Youth-Reach.”

Membership is voluntary, and accredited churches and non-profits are recognized as ministries whose reputations positively reflect the evangelical Christian community. All members declare Jesus as Lord as they spread the gospel through their unique work and raise funds to accomplish their Kingdom goals.

YRGC was founded in 1984 to promote emotional healing and healthy relationships in the lives of at-risk young men. A long-term, residential ministry, YRCG focuses on developing character, responsibility and a strong work ethic.

Our hope is that this accreditation will further the YRGC mission to restore broken young men toward a relationship with Jesus.
