We are blessed to be a part of a community that invests heavily in helping us accomplish our mission of raising strong men of God. Smith Prestwood, founder of Prestwood Law Firm, and his wife, Jessica, have supported our ministry heavily since they first visited our 81-acre Summerdale, Alabama campus about six years ago with a life group from their church. "No matter how you get involved, nothing is wasted," Smith shared. Read their inspiring story in our latest blog post.

Greetings, I am happy to have an opportunity to say a good word for YouthReach. I first heard of them when I met... Curt Williams in the mid 90’s...we attended to church together. This ministry is part of God’s work to rescue troubled youth out of this difficult, defiled generation. Integrity, excellence, faithfulness, perseverance, and godly purpose characterize all they do. I have witnessed it over these many years. God is about eternal reach and discipling of people. That is what they are all about. They shoulder this task with the most unruly of our society...rebellious teenage boys.They are worth rescuing to God! I have been overwhelmed since my husband passed away three weeks ago. This wonderful young man stopped to intruduce... himself and I explained that my husband had passed away and I was overwhelmed by the stuff that needed to be done. 15 minutes later, five young men were at my house mowing, trimming bushes, cutting down old bushes, pressure washing my vinyl and front porch, washing my camper and moving my camper for me and several other odds and ends. I feel so blessed to have met such a wonderful group of young men that went above and beyond for 7 hours and they had just met me. They are such a blessing at a time when I truly need the help. This program clearly instills a wonderful sense of community and helping your neighbor. I can't thank them enough.read more

If it weren’t for this program, I don’t know where my brother would be. Certainly not in the position he is in now.... They took my brother in while he was broken, and turned him into a God fearing, loving man. He is a completely and totally different person now than he was before he entered this program. The leaders and staff spoke and poured into my brother’s life when he wouldn’t listen to anyone else. They had a huge impact on him and changed his life forever. I, and my entire family, are so thankful for this program! God used this program and the leaders who work here to change my brother’s life from the dark path he was on, and pointed him towards the light that is Christ Jesus. Again, I honestly can’t even begin to imagine where he would be right now if it weren’t for youth reach. We are all so, so thankful!!read more

A ministry that moves mountains for young men. The heart of this ministry is to never give up on a young man that is... trying to improve. The counselors and their wives are just super fantastic.
