Support the Bentley Family
On July 30, 2025, the Bentley family received news that no parent ever wants to hear: their sweet son, Zealand, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer.
Zealand is the firstborn son of Jackson and Faith Bentley. Many of you know Jackson as the Operations Coordinator here at Youth-Reach Gulf Coast, but his story with us goes much deeper. Jackson is a 2016 graduate of YRGC, and now serves with passion and purpose, pouring into the lives of young men walking through the same transformation he once experienced.
JUNE 2026 UPDATE
After spending six months at St. Jude, we are grateful to share that the Bentley family is now back home, and Z is doing well! They will continue traveling back to St. Jude every 2.5 weeks for a week of treatment at a time, with treatment expected to conclude in October.
Jackson and Faith are deeply thankful for the outpouring of love, support and prayers they have received throughout this journey, and they ask that you continue to keep Zealand and their family in your prayers in the months ahead.
